Whole Beef Reservation
We raise a limited number of cattle each season.
Once spots are filled, we move to a waitlist.
Why Families Choose Our Beef
If you’ve ever bought beef from the store, you’ve probably wondered where it came from, and why the quality can feel inconsistent.
We do things differently. For four generations, our family has raised cattle on in the hills of the Sierra Nevadas and down in Davis, ensuring that cattle pasture peacefully, because we believe that beef tastes better that way. (With lots of science to prove it!) Our beef has proven to have:
• Strong genetics for better marbling and tenderness
• Grass-raised, with grain-finished or grass-finished options
• No added hormones or antibiotics
• Humane, hands-on care from start to finish
The result is beef that’s consistently flavorful, naturally tender, and something you can feel confident feeding your family.
A quarter beef is a great option for smaller families looking to stock their freezer with high-quality, responsibly raised meat.
Typical Yield:
• Approximately 600–780 lbs of take-home beef
Included Cuts:
• Steaks, roasts, and ground beef
• Plus premium cuts like flank steak, brisket, and short ribs
Packaging:
• Each cut is individually wrapped for easy storage and use
Freezer Space & Household Fit
• Recommended for large families or shared purchases between households
• Takes up about a full upright freezer or large chest freezer (16–20 cu ft)
